Culture 101

This Saturday we took a visit to the art museum, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. (It's no MFA, but it tops the Springfield Art Museum.) They hosted a special kids day at the museum where there was face painting, button making, soccer ball design and an animation class. I think Miss G enjoyed the day, though she felt some of the art was "inappropriate", oddly enough she never says anything about the art hanging in our kitchen. At least she was exposed to something more than Bratz and High School Musical. As for the Little Man, he love the quiet of the galleries and how his voice echoed!
